Voodoo Chile V'racha Hot Sauce (5oz) - This is not another knock-off of the “red rooster” sauce available at the local grocers! This is Voodoo’s twist on an age old traditional that has its roots in a tiny fishing community in Thailand by the name of Si Racha.
This thick, tasty condiment abides by the traditions born in the village of Si Racha: namely, we use only a single pepper variety in addition to the other main ingredients (vinegar, garlic, sugar and salt). What makes our recipe stand out from the others is our selection of chile (an extra hot version of the Kashmiri pepper from India), a blend of top quality vinegar, and an extremely subtle addition of a few choice Asian spices.
This is one of our most popular sauces due to its versatility. As is the case with most Si Racha inspired sauces, this is something that can quickly and easily find uses at breakfast, lunch or dinner plate throughout the week. Can be used alone as a condiment or mixed with other ingredients to lend heat and character to things like cocktail sauce and much more.
